RTU (Rooftop Unit)

A packaged HVAC system that combines heating and cooling equipment in one unit, typically installed on a roof and supplies conditioned air through ductwork.

Mechanical Piping

Mechanical piping is a system of pipes, fittings, and valves used to transport fluids, gases, refrigerants and utilities in buildings and industrial facilities.

Service Sink

A service sink is a deep and sturdy floor-mounted sink used for cleaning equipment, filling buckets, and routine janitorial work.

Storefront

A storefront is a front-facing exterior wall system with aluminum or steel framing and glass panels, providing visibility, durability, and natural light.

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)

Metering

Ballast

Electrical Conduit

EMT Conduit

EMT conduit (Electrical Metallic Tubing) is a light, steel or aluminum tubing used to protect and route electrical wiring, typically in dry indoor locations.

HEPA filters remove very fine airborne particles using dense fibers, improving air quality in hospitals, labs, HVAC systems, and purifiers.

GFI Breaker

A GFI breaker is a safety device that supplies power while constantly checking the flow of current, shutting things off immediately if it detects a leak.

VAV (Variable Air Volume)

VAV (Variable Air Volume) is a part of the HVAC system that adjusts airflow to different spaces based on heating or cooling needs.

P-Trap

A P-trap is a U-shaped pipe under plumbing fixtures that holds water to prevent sewer gases from entering buildings.

S/A

S/A, or Supply Air Register, is a part of an HVAC system that brings conditioned air into a room. It directs the air flows, ensuring even distribution and ultimately, how comfortable the room feels.

OS&Y Valve

An OS&Y Valve is a type of control valve commonly used in fire protection and water systems to regulate water flow to the piping network that feeds sprinklers or standpipe systems.

K-Bracing

K-Bracing is part of a structural bracing system where diagonal members connect to a column and beam to form a “K” shape.

NAC

NAC (Notification Appliance Circuit) is an electrical circuit that connects fire alarm systems to notification devices like horns, strobes, and speakers.

EIFS

EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish System) is a multi-layered exterior wall system that provides insulation, weather resistance, and a finished surface.
