How can I share a takeoff with my team?
You can grant access to any team member directly from the share icon on the takeoff screen. Once shared, they’ll receive a notification, and the takeoff will appear under their “Shared with me” tab for easy access.
What happens when I duplicate a takeoff?
Duplicating creates a private copy of the original takeoff. You can edit, test changes, or add new features without affecting the shared version—perfect for iterations or alternate bid scenarios.
Can multiple team members edit the same takeoff?
Yes. Once shared, team members can enable editing, access the full toolbar, and make modifications to the plan. All changes stay synced so the entire team works off the latest version.
How does the “Team” tab improve collaboration?
The Team tab gives visibility into all takeoffs submitted by your team. You can filter by team member, open their takeoffs directly, and continue work seamlessly—keeping projects organized and transparent.
Can I track projects submitted by other team members?
Yes. In the takeoff settings menu, you can opt to receive submission emails for projects started by teammates, making it easy to stay in the loop on progress and deadlines.
How do shared takeoffs support project updates or addenda?
Shared takeoffs let you upload addendum plans, make scope changes, or resubmit updated versions while keeping the team aligned. Everyone works from the most current project data, minimizing miscommunication.
